Carolina International Trucks Inc. is looking for experienced Master level Diesel Technicians (A Techs) at our Charleston, Columbia, Conway, Florence, Greenville and Greer locations.  We have a presence covering the entire state to give our customers unmatched customer service. Job Description:




  • Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all Heavy Truck and Diesel Engines as specified in manufacturer-procedures or accepted industry practices.

  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.   Making adjustments and alignments.

  • Accurately complete all paperwork including repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections.

  • Ability to organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency and productivity in the performance of all job functions.


  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.











Job Requirements


Requirements:




Entry to Mid Level Technician:






    • 2+ years of experience in an OEM Heavy Truck dealership setting.

    • Possess factory training certifications in drivetrain, electrical, braking systems, etc., preferred

    • Holds CDL license or is capable of obtaining a CDL license.

    • Familiar with current diagnostic software.


    • Must be familiar with job- specific equipment such as wheel, tire equipment and diagnostic systems.



    • Attention to Detail, dependability, and excellent documentation skills.
